Hi
Can anyone answer this little question from a newbie. I want to send a midi clock signal from a micro sync into the midi in port of an edirol PCR-M1 controller and then out through the PCR's USB link to my lappy for my VJ software to sync to. Is it possible? I've read the manual and set the PCR up right but can't get no clock signal. I'm using midi-ox to monitor the midi ports. I can get a signal from the PCR's internal clock but not one from the pcr'S MIDI IN PORT. Is it possible? Thanks

It is possible.
In your VJ rogram or wherever yu select your MIDI clock source, take the PCR's MIDI IN port as the clock source. It should work perfectly. I know it does here. If the signal is NOT arriving at the PCR, probably your sync generator is not working properly or is misconfigurated. |
