Default Timecode footage/software

Yo Visual Jockeys

I am after a piece of footage or software that runs like a timecode.

In fact, it is simply that a huge timecode.

I want something that I can manipulate so that it runs down.

Any ideas would be gratefully received!!

Cheers earsy,
VJO

The after effects Timecode plugin (in the Video folder of the effects) will let you make such content (you'll need to take the timecode composition into another composition and timestretch it -100% in order to get it counting down)

Not as flexible as some softwrae to do it live (quite easy to build with flash) but will do the trick if your needs are well defined in advance.

Dan.

Default Timecode-ness

Hey - thanks all for looking and especially to Syz whom I have since chatted with.

Any ideas where I might get a flash animation of one?

I think I will be fine doing it on After Effects but just wondering if anyone knows about flash - as that is not my bag.

Cheers O

For a flash timecode try having a look on www.flashkit.com

theres help and advice from flash gurus over there.

You could probaly find a downloadable source file there too [http://www.flashkit.com/movies].

Theres bound to be a countdown that could be modified a little bit for your needs.

Paul
