OK folks I just want a simple proggy that will render 3d models in motion in wireframe to .avi. I normally use extreme3d but it doesn't seem to do it
and I'm not really interested in stuffing about with lightwave/3dstudio, there must be a simple proggy out there to do this job.

Strata studio will does this, it is free and is dead easy to use.
It will also render hidden line renders which look like wire frame models but are more easily viewed. Can't remeber the web site, but just do a search. Steve |

Well MoRpH, there is no such "simple" 3D proggy as you ask, but since I have used/tested all of them, I mean All_of_Them (PC, MAC, Amiga), here are my recommendations:
1.- Ulead Cool3D The most easy/friendly 3D for VJs app around (Totally Vidiot Proof) 2.- Xara3D The full tricks richness & friendly 3D Text magic box, specially if you have loads of symbols font librarys installed on your PC 3.- Deep/3D Exploration The real/true Shaman dealing with 3D objects. 3.- Poser4-5 & Propack If you are tired of just Geometric objects primitives and want some Life Organic 3D models too. Well, just some of my own 3D VJ related arsenal... some oldies that could be useful too if you have a few old free shareware collection CDs, those from magazines, would be Micrografx Simply 3D and the useful browser/converter Quick3D |

AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH I asked for something simple Huo, blender is worse than 3d studio or lightwave (although its gonna shit on all them now its OS
)I just want something that I can map a 3d object to a motion path and then render it in wireframe. There must be some crap old freeware/abandonware that can do this??? |
