Edirol / Roland P-10 firmware update.

Version 1.12 of the P-10 firmware has been released. Along with this release, there is also an updated Windows version of the P-10 software (1.03). Mac OSX remains at version 1.01.

Updates for the P-10 appears to be cosmetic at first. Rebranding the unit to Roland (as per 1.09 release) but also brings into the MIDI the newly adopted "MIDI VISUAL CONTROL" protocol. This seems to be the inclusion of VLink into the standard MIDI protocol.

Changed the opening screen of P-10.

Removed the P-10 panel image from the opening screen.

On PAL(25fps), P-10 might not be able to play back a movie file recorded until the maximum size of an SD card which size is 2GB or more because there is an error on the error-handling routine. The error is corrected.

Changed the brand name on the PC screen from Edirol to Roland when connecting the P-10 with the PC.

[BUG FIX]
Video Format setting might be changed unexpectedly just after performing the Factory Reset function.

When letting the input video signal go thru output, the output video might be shifted four lines downward.

The system was stopping video playback by a MIDI Offline message, so the playback might be stopped unexpectedly.

Windows P-10 conversion software.

When the user name at Windows system has double-byte characters like Japanese or other Asian languages, converting movies or still images might fail with an error message. It was corrected.


[Version 1.02]
Playing a file which was converted by the P-10 Image Converter might cause audio noise when its start point was modified. It was corrected.
