I don't often post gig reports these days but recently paid work has all too often become a little dull and uncreative. This year im determined to chase down more exciting and engaging projects so this, hopefully is the first of many tom come this year.
The content for the 8x2 video wall ( 16:3 aspect ratio ) all had to be custom made. and the hospitality sign i made myself and was hooked up to a 12 channel dmx dimmer pack so that each letter was controllable seperately on its own channel. ![]() ![]() And two pretty dodgy videos, uploaded by some stranger on youtube. The 2nd is terrible but at least you can see the sign in action. (just) |

CHeers guys,
@ Dav. Used one of my Brick1 controllers and a scan converter on the final output to line it all up just right. BTW, dont think i ever got round to thanking you for my machinista DVDs at Glasto, i assume that was a thank you for the scart adapter for the footie. nice one. See you next year hopefully maybe we'll have time spare for a drink at some point.

did you break down a 4x4 output into 2 lines for 1280x320px output? did you have to produce your loops with a "funny" double-screen arrangement then? however it was done- seemed to work. yes, CRTs do still seem to have the edge over plasmas or LCD screen on occasions... easy to stack, decent res at close range... and keeps you fit with all that lifting- lovely. Yes, let's hangout some more at the next glasto, could even get to play at the same venue someday?
