Sorry, I've suposed you knew that your graphic card has to support more than one monitor for you can use the mixer on your computer screen and the visuals on the TV monitor or projector. These cards are known as "dual-head".
If your graphic card has these capabilitie then it should be a windows operating system issue.
I'm not very familiarized with it.
I'm a MAC user.

I'm not sure about the graphic card but the expalnation about what you are doing em2am is not what VJRa is asking you to do.

You have to run a clip, then clicking and holding one the preview monitor you just drag it to the desire window, that shuld be your video output card to the tv.

Then you just have to press the + simbol on your MD interface to get full screen.

Now, if you are doing that and it doesn't work I just do not have any idea.

Se what you do to make that video output to work normaly.

Normally if you have a MIro Motion DC 30 card all you need is to use the video card codecs and the card will reconize the clips and output them, now that is the theory, I asume people that does that does it that way.

Buy a scan converter with zoom capabilities you can get a halfdecent one for about $100 U.S. (probably cheaper than a dualhead card but different quality)
I use an Avermedia which is fine for 320*240 but not for high res material .
Its also compatible with pc or mac.
Zoom on the preview window on any program and plug to you beamer.
Goodluck!

You see? that is why people hire poeple with experience, you do not have an idea of how many things I have plug togather. When I got my Miro DC 30 I got it to capture video AND to use it with Digital Performer to capture audio witha decent quality, but not, Digital Performer didn't reconize that card. I had a $700 PCI card and I need to by another $700 audiomedia 2 card to do what I wnated to do.

With the VJ stuff is about the same, a lot of trial and error but that is good because most of us are pioneers. To become a good VJ you will need to be very handly and wise about video technology.

Keep trying, we all have been there.

when using tv out to full screen md3 on dual monitor it still leaves a large border.I've tried to correct by altering the 2nd monitor resolution but the program automatically alters it itself.
The only way i can output full screen is by using a scan converter.
Is there any way of avoiding this since its a pity to tie up my scan converter on a lappy which has tv out-I could put it to better use.
