M-audio Axiom 25 Midi And Modul8

Hey everybody!
I have been VJing at a few venues since Dec 09' Mostly with Nuvj and resolume, My friend let me borrow his M-audio Axiom to test it out on Modul8(still a noob on it) I know they are better midi controllers out there for it, but was wondering if anybody here has had any experience with it.

I am on a budget right now and basically everything that I make from VJing goes on equipment =)
