Saving and managing bookmarks in Safari
I just got a macbook and have been adjusting to the changes from my pc and windows-based programs. Now using Safari as my search engine.
With mozilla, IE and chrome, saving bookmarks was simple and easy to organize: you click to Add Link (icon in the toolbar, usually a star or plus icon) and you can Edit the name, Organize- choose where it will go, and Create a new Bookmark Folder in which to save the site. In Safari, if I don't already have a folder for the bookmark, I have to actually go into the page to Manage Bookmarks ("Show all Bookmarks) and then Create new folder (+) and then go back to the site which I wanted to save, in order to save it in the new folder.
There's got to be a simple way, right?
Also, I'm missing so many of my bookmarks from previous programs-- the three web browsers I mentioned above, as well as Delicious. Does anyone know the simplest way to import/export/sync/manage all my bookmarks that are out there? Oh, I have mobile-me as well, but I'm not really acclimated to it and barely use it
