Arrow To logo or not to logo?

So I want to make, or try and make a logo.

My alias of skulpture is getting about a bit now but I want a logo to use on my website, business cards, t-shirts etc etc.

I am not ditching the skulpture name but i'd like a logo to go with it.

Although I can create, edit and manipulate video... creating a logo is just not working for me. Ive sat looking at photoshop for hours!

Any ideas, thoughts, experiences, advice etc.

keep your logo simple so you can use it in social networking, vimeo etc in a small size . Then when it comes to your website, its what surrounds it that builds your profile. Gives you more flexibility when going for corporate work.

Maybe you could do a bum with a fist coming out of it

keep at it, at some point something will pop up which makes sense probably obvious to say, but think about your name and how you can relate it and how it can relate to you.

mine is simple.... i used a hexagon as i realy try as hard as i can to avoid the normal 4:3 rectangular approach to screens, and the A is an old alchemy symbol for Air ( Eyre is my real surname... so using Air seemed only right )

skulpture, if you need some help with your logo, let me know...
pm me.

Whenever i make the logos, i try to keep them simple and yet effective, scalable and visible from favicon.ico up to any size you wish... it has to work...

Here's some inspiration and resources about logo design…

Resources…

Hope that helps

Edit: Oh, and one tip … get away from the machine and scribble! I always have to force myself to do that, but it's the best way IMHO
