i would like to now if anybody has any experience with satellite internet. I am interested in any good providers in europe. That should also do for austria where live.

If the service is any way like the sat Internet service in the USA thenitwill would say don't do it .

You will have abandwith cap of around 200 mb a day with your speed dropping to below dial up if you max out your allotment.

Moreover they make u sign up for a year of that crap. And noramally charge u extra for the modem...

All in all it isn't worth it ... But u don't have to beleave me check out
dslreports.com they have reviews of most ISP in the market

yeah its expensive and slow, but sometimes its the only option. If its for a tempory install then speak to Psand http://psand.net/ they are experts in this area.

Keep in mind that latency will be too high for anything realtime (300-400 ms minimum)
