Resolume Opening Problem

Hey guys i'm using resolume 2.41 on a windows based laptop,nd have been using it past 6-7 months..Past few days I've been facing a problem with it..Everytime I open Resolume a small window opens up saying "Resolume has encountered a problem & needs to close" nd they give me a option to debug it,send a report and close the window.Although when I click CLOSE resolume works fine,but its wierd how it started all of a sudden,it scares the hell out of me every time I go for a Gig.Along with this the Default DEMO 1 Deck dosent open up,only demo 2 opens.Although this hasent affected me in my gigs I had recently but I'm like very worried why is it happening.
It Would be nice if you guys help me solve the issue.
Secondly last week a strange thing happened with me in a gig,when I was opening a SWF text file from a saved deck resolume hanged all of a sudden..I tried it for 3 times,every single time It hanged & the wierd part is when i tried it after returning back home,it worked perfectly fine nd I have been using that file from a long time,it has never encountered any problems ever..
I'm just worrying abt the fact that hope these issues dont affect me in a gig in the near future,so pls help me out with this..

sounds like a registry problem maybe?
did you do any program installing or uninstalling recently ?

I know it's not much of a help saying "do a nice clean install (both OS and vj app)" but some times if your system is old , will help...

I did'nt install or uninstall any program recently,infact I hardly have any programs loaded in my laptop cos its totally dedicated for vj'ing..
Secondly My system is just a year old nd I formatted it just a couple of months back,so i beleive my system is pretty clean..Altough i think maybe i should reinstall resolume once & try out but had a question in my mind..I dont want all my decks to be removed cos i've spent days nd days sorting those out,what if i have a copy those dose decks temporarily kept in some other random drive/folder & after i reinstall resolume i paste those in d DECKS folder of resolume..Will it work??

yes you can copy decks into and out of 2.3 and 2.41 BUT you cant copy 2.3 decks to 2.41 or 2.41 decks to 2.3

check your display properties in windows and make sure you havent slipped into 32bit colour depth - if it isnt set to 16bit that can be a reason why decks fail to load

Thanks mate,You were right it was set to 32 bit,i've changed it to 16 bit though,but still i'm facing the same problem now everytime i open resolume..Demo deck 1 not loading up & a window opening up & saying "Resolume has encountered a problem nd needs to close"..
You guys think I should once reinstall nd try it out?
