Question Help needed about using a Toshiba XP2 (TDP-XP2?)

Hey,

I'm pretty good with projectors, usually...()...Ive never had an issue i couldnt solve in 10 min.

However, I'm on "sabbatical" from my events managemnt business at the moment, and staying in a hostel, which possess an XP2.

The projector works fine when receiving data from the DVD player its connect to. However:

Try as I might, I cannot get it to work as a second (or primary) monitor to my Toshiba NB200. No image from my computer, just the standard image in the corner telling me its looking for a computer stream. Then reverting to flicking through channels as it searches for a signal.

I think I spent an hour last night trying to work this one out. i doubt its a driver issue, but even if it is I cannot locate a driver or manual, and the hostel hasnt got the disks or manual anymore.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

All suggestions are appreciated. I'm itching to get this working while I''m here.

Thanks for your time,

Peri

try sending it actual VGA (640x480, 60hz) and see if it can cope with that.
