Hi folks.
Yesterday I bought Evolution UC-33e midi controller. And I have one problem, that I can't resolve. I want to sent a note signal from MIDI-buttons(button from #1 to #9) to Resolume 3 to control footage CuePoints. How can I programm that with Enigma software? I thick the procedure is the same for any of Evolution/m-audio devices, so if you don't use just uc-33e, but use Enigma, you probably know... Last edited by vjkj; 4th November 2009 at 12:22 PM. |

Yes, I know, I can do it bypassing Enigma. But is there way to do it with Enigma? I can't believe, it is so buggy, that can't do simple operations...?

enigma is a complete enigma, it's got a very suitable name. I gave up on it a while ago.

just use the buttons on the damn thing, the software is junk...
you could of course program it yourself by sending the right sysex messages, but if you didn't know that already then you won't manage to get it working! really, just use the buttons to program, its quick and easy... |

I can understand your frustration but you'll save yourself some headaches if you do what tom says. Welcome to the exciting world of MIDI devices and its associated pains

Thanks guys.
I'll try to programm it manually. -- But, however, if is there any soft that I can use to programm MIDI signals, I'll be glad to try it, nevertheless... (for MacOS or Win)

any such software would have to be specific to the model of midi hardware your trying to program. Most devices come with their own software to program the fuctions, its just in the case of the very cheap controllers the software generally doesn't work very well. (Enigma is perhaps the worst but i've also had a frustrating time with the Behringer software tool)
I really don't get why you want to do this in software? |

because typing is easier than clicking strange key combinations plus you get to see all your settings in one go. If they worked they would make life a hell of a lot easier
