guerilla poetry VJing
I've recently been asked to facilitate an art project being run by lancashire libraries, involving projecting flash fiction, poetry and literary ramblings onto the side of three libraries (out of the back of a van, guerilla vj style) three nights in a row at each.
The brief is fairly simple and straightforward, but having read some of the stuff today I'm really looking forward to doing it and interacting with the audience, adding audio recordings of the projections and stuff like that.
It's going to end up with all these multilayered meanings as people interacting with it will react differently. At the same time it's going to be a bit odd as I'm used to doing stuff in clubs and this is using someone else's heartfelt, meaningful work.
Anyone else done anything like this?
