sounds exciting! wonder about the triplehead resolution restriction: could this be single-link dvi max. bandwidth, or the bandwidth of the conference kit he hints at? affordable XGA/HD mixer would be awesome! seems they chained a conference mixer with self-made RS232 controller and a regular triplehead...

nah, its more like the RED cam. some people have seen this in flesh already and pretty much like with the RED it needs a certain amount of initial buyers to take off. this would probably be the most crucial point. if it requires to deposit the bespoke 1000 euros street prize for a product that is just almost there, chances are that it 'vaporizes' after a while. well, the RED finally made it and is seeing three product generations right now, so theres is hope ( grabs wallet and counts cash...)

cant really talk without Tobys authorization but the estimated price is for a complete kit. we should really wait for his statement on this though. everything else is just rumour and guessing.
