I've had issues with mp4's particulary on PC's but also strange green frames on mac, even when encoded on the same mac, so I'd say divx, but...
not everyone has divx.... both? |

divx is mpeg4 in an avi wrapper.
i'd go for .mp4 files myself as less windows centric and there are decent freeware encodeders and decoders.

Perhaps also consider Xvid. DivX wasn't free last time I looked. DivX players have(/had) a nasty tendency to come with adware that was difficult to remove.

Anybody experiencing a little difference between sound and image in mp4 encoding?
I find images a little bit slower thad sound. Both in progressive and interlaced encodings. |
