Default Audio reactive visuals for Resolume

Hi there. It's been a while since I last popped in here, but I thought I'd break my long period of idle for a small contribution. In preparation for a gig of last Friday, I noticed there are very few visuals available for people which make use of Resolume's FFT audio analysis. So I decided to create some.

Quoting my own Readme:
Code:
Audio reactive visuals for Resolume
by Jelco (VJ JV)

The pack contains 5 groups of animations
 - Regular VU meter style (vumeter)
 - Expanding blocks (expandvumeter)
 - Blocks jumping forward (punchvumeter)
 - Blocks jumping out of a globe (globevumeter)
 - Expanding rings (ringvumeter)

The first group is available both with and without 3D perspective style. All the
others are available with fixed colours per block or changing colours
depending on audio strength. Every animation with perspective drawings is
available in zero transparency and slightly transparent style (70% alpha).

The first group (vumeter) has an additional feat in Resolume, using its ability
to pass 4 variables to flash files (the sliders in the clip properties). If
parameter 4 has a value greater than 50 (i.e. it's on the right side of the
slider), the first slider will determine the distance between the blocks, and
the second slider will determine the size of the blocks. The third slider does
nothing (yet). You can create some really bouncy animations if you link the
first slider to the Low part of the FFT audio analysis, and the second to the
High part. Try it and experiment! ;)

All animations are free for any use, including commercial.
I'd like to note that the fifth (the 'rings') is an experiment which didn't turn out exactly as I expected it to. However, it does work in an unexpected way, so someone out there might like it. I'd also like to emphasize that the first group (titled 'vumeter') takes info from the variable sliders in Resolume as well. See the above Readme for more info.

All the files are Flash files; set timeline control to Flash in Resolume or they will jump around like an epileptic. Also note that they have been created for use with Resolume 2's FFT audio analysis. They will not work in any other application. I have not tested it with Resolume Avenue yet, because I don't have it and don't like it. Feel free to test it and tell me the results.

You can download the pack here. (ZIP, 26kB)
Source files are available here. (ZIP, 112kB)

The swf files were made for Flash 9, the fla files (source files) were made with Flash CS3 and use ActionScript 2.0. Sorry if they're a bit of a mess, but they were my first jump into both Flash and ActionScript.

Comments and suggestions are very much welcome. This set of visuals is the first I ever created with Flash, but I'm definitely planning on creating more to follow. Feedback is always useful.

Enjoy!

Jelco

Sure thing. I'll probably upload them this evening.

I've added a link to the source files in the first post. They're a little messy seeing as lots of it was messy experimental code which worked and hence never changed (was in a bit of a hurry). I'm sure you'll be able to work out the details though. Have fun with them.

I don't mind you changing them, but if you redistribute them I'd appreciate some credit.
