Arkaos renders upside down

I have spend the last couple weeks rebuiling my rig

(had my xt5000t crap out on me...on another note its been 3 months now and my laptop STILL isnt repaired by the maufacturer...everex)

ANYWAY.. so i got everything back to where it was, and im trying to render out of Arkaos, and its rendering upsidedown. i know this is probably a codec error but what can i do? Basically what im doing is rendering some clips, so i can put on dvds.
what can i do to resolve this?

I should Also Note i amrendering in WMV, have had the IDENTICLE setup before with my last laptop, so its not a hardware issue.

update...


it will render out if i disable hardware acceleration but will disable all my Hardware accelerated effects (the red border icons)

Im guessing this hs something to do with an overlay option? But i am at a loss!

i determined it is NOT a codec issue, and like i said plays fine if im doing something live, just wont encode to wmv or mov from arkaos event recoder window.


Any thoughts?

i am running a 7600 go with 512 discreet 512 shared in vista 32


and dont tell me its vista becasue i used this identical lappy last year without a hitch doing exactaly what im doing now!


also i cant get my mode listing to pop up under arkaos in the preferences,just blank

but if i go with primary display adaper its all there....

Try using the Arkaos forums and data base. Allways use the search facility if you have a problem, chances are it will have been encountered before.

Thanks but i already dd a search (i tend to do a seach , ask questions later kinda thing.)

And no where is the question actually answered.

all i can tell is that there is som soert of conflict with my graphic card, and its no using the hardware accerleration properly...

I've seen it happy with a student who was running a demo copy at college - he/I never discovered how to resolve it... we had to assign a midi controller to flip it around whenever it happened.

I've heard about this before. Arkaos displays visuals upside down when you don't have a registered license. If you have purchased your Arkaos contact them, they'll help you out.

it a legit copy and it renders everything properly...UNTIL i want to make a movie out of it.

if hardware acceleration is on.. i can use overlay, but i cant create movies (renders darker, purple, and upside down)

If i turn hardware acceleration off i cant use full screen overlay, but i can create movies like MOV and WMV

i never had this problem with my identical laptop i had last year.


i can use it, but its retarded to have to switch it back and forth, but i guess thats what im doing..

updated to the recent version of Arkaos...

looks like i did that before but i had totally forgotton and just used m old installer...
