Hi everybody, Tilt-Festival (Perpignan-France) organizes 2 video contests, one online and one in Perpignan:


CINE-REMIX & MASHUP VIDEO ONLINE CONTEST Music and digital arts festival Tilt, in Perpignan (France), are launching a video mash-up competition in collaboration with curators Cinefeel.org who have been screening work of remix artists for over a decade, and leading audio/video remix artists Addictive TV, who’ll also be part of the judging panel. The winner will receive €1000.
The deadline to submit a piece to Tilt is : March 10th, 2009 and contestants are invited to create a short video mash-up by sampling and remixing public domain video clips. CINE-REMIX BATTLE


Tilt-Festival 2009 organizes in Perpignan the Cine Remix battle, the 14th of march 09, in association with The Institut Jean Vigo and http://www.telenoika.net,

Out of a film chosen and provided by the organizer, the entrant will have to remix pictures and soundtracks.

Two categories of contest are proposed:
- “VJing”: a public VJing performance on a music chosen by the entrant.
- “Audiovisual set”: a public VJ performance including a musical creation inspired by the film soundtrack. ( alone or team of two).

Participant will be judged on a VJ performance of two to three minutes. The performance will take place in front of the public and jury (with addictive Tv, telenoika...). The list of the jury members can be seen on http://www.tilt-festival.org. 600€ for the winner of each categories.
