Rova has many talents - he was also hosting my website, so i would have had to let him win the headbutt challenge anyway

I do not VJ anymore but I have had so many of my questions answered here, and made so many connections with other people, that I feel like I have to give back. That's why I am still here, reading almost each and every post that is art or tech related and doing my best the share my know-how and my inspirations. It is also a social thing : there are many people here I've never met in real life, or only once at AVIT, and that I feel like they are friends.

Like Deep, when I started there was no info at all out there (there were more light shows outside of London though, prog rock never died round here! Cool we ain't!) just pictures in books or on record covers (everyone was secretive here too, its all the alchemy involved in hands on shows I recon!
so when I found vjc it was amazing, I've always tried to help when I can, but these days I don't work in clubs more than once or twice a year, and most people are only really interested in club visuals...
Its quite telling that there is a london only vj forum, IMHO!
And I cant believe that noone posted about a Mary Ellen Bute exhibition that happened in London recently (I flicked through an old Timeout in the hotel I was in yesterday, 360 projections of her work apparently) info for those that don't know her. But most people consider Vjing as starting with the computer for some reason! Maybe thats why I still describe what I do as live visuals?
So yes not much talk of more artistic things really, TBH I get my art kicks from the vvvv shoutbox, everyday almost, some link to new or old generative art or strange installation. Still pop by here regularly though, just don't post so much, too f**king busy at the moment!
Nice to see your still around though Holly!
