Default Location search

I'm looking for a good location that has lots of spray painted wall graffiti, preferably very colourful. It can be any style but again preferably Urban texts rather than drawn objects. I'll be in London next Sunday so info before then would be greatly appreciated if not London anywhere really between London and North Yorks ......cheers.

ps: Or.....North bound between North Yorks and Newcastle....lol

trouble with the Southbank is the skaters - you won't be able to shoot much their without them getting in the way.

Somewhere like the greenway is probably a better option as it is much less busy and has better light than the dingy old southbank.

yeah southbank is cool. if you are there early enough they wont be many skaters or any for that matter. its shame that the southbank spot has shrunk in size! it used to be massive!

other direction and in edinburgh you have a place called bristo square and the subways and outside of there has loads of Graff!

i cant think of anywhere in newcastle tbh. i'll have a little think

Thanks for the extra info guys. Leeds doesn't look like the material I'm looking for although the next time I'm down I'll have a better look round.

Cheers for that info Tom, that wall looks perfect & the links may be handy to have a search through too.

I'm going to do some filming before going to Plasa next week so it will be early morning probably well before the skaters are out of their pits Some filming around the tourists sites afterwards should see me arrested or at very least harassed

you'd be suprised - i've seen people skating there before 8am. the graf does change all the time and is normally not very good as a result - the concept of only painting over stuff if your going to paint something better doesn't seem to apply on the southbank. But depends what you want init - if steve wants some shitty standard hiphop loops then the combination of poor graf and bad skating should sort him right out...
