Here in NYC they're starting to equip taxis with little lcd screens that show documentary-style biopics of tourist destinations. Usually they don't work
, but I was in a cab Sunday night and it was all about the Chelsea Market, the historic El-train skystation/wearhouse where we throw the EYE WASH parties. No mention of me or my Veehs, though .Makes me want to write a grant to supply the taxi and limo commission with short VJ mixes about the city to show to tourists instead of these boring videos.... Maybe they could be programmed to play late-night

wow! that sounds cool. surely they would be interested, although I guess they could be showing adverts instead (if they aren't already)
It's kinda weird that taxis have little lcd screens. do you think if you had a long journey they could show you a film? I can't see taxis over here getting it.. Maybe you could try getting a live gig.. sit in the front next to the driver

"We have the talent, now lets get the $$$"
There is a mall around my house where on the side of the "electric stairs" (I do not know how you call them in english), the have some anoying sapeakers telling "Go to Burger King, In Burger King you will have fun, in Burger King, etc, etc". It si more or less the same thing but the thing is that some one did it. Now the real value of it is the content once the system is created. Just find out the the taxi company who installed those things, they sure need new content. You may make them an offre, you can find the sponsosr, make the videos and rent them (the owners of the system) the space in their sytem. Any way, good idea.
