i am currently thinking of a shirt with a vvvv patch on it. would look cool whilst being not obviously tied to video, thus preventing the "twat-effect".
then I have a shirt from vsct with an 8mm cam and a screen on it which could havae been designed better. but nonetheless, a major brand utilizing video equipement for its fashion design makes me think that we could get away with a vj-line, as long as it has a certain amount of irony\fun implied.

I wouldn't want a T-shirt that said VJ on it anywhere or was obviously related, maybe if it had a teeny weeny VJForum logo (i mean small) on the sleeve or side panel I might. I think it's good to avoid the hey I'm a VJ, look how cool i am. Having said that I've always liked 'vidiot' and that isn't VJ specific.
I'm not sure if I see myself wearing this t-shirt whilst performing, I like the idea and if the design is cool would probably buy one! I'm struggling to get a fresh clip bank together so can't commit to any help right now! |

I know spark is wearing a "vj" shirt and I remember VJcentral having a shirt store... I usually wear either a shirt with my url on it or a shirt with my vjname without the "vj" or one with an image from one of my clips:

I think having "I'm not the DJ" (in a "Life Is Good") context, is the best option to brand a VJ shirt

we shouldnt define ourselves in quoting what we are not. thats the one thing that I never liked about Legoman. that quote "i am not the DJ". or crusteas antivj. "wunderkind" by the way is the fashion label by wolfgang joop.
my names on all my equippement but I would never wear a shirt with "devon miles" on it. fashion is all about fun, its playful and delicate, komplex. lets create something thats open for associatons while not obviously related to visuals.

BTW: I do like the fuck off I'm mixing. I also think we shouldn't define ourselves by what we're not - on the other hand - it would keep people away asking to play a certain track...
