Arrow Video Capture Cards - Locking Inputs

I've got an XP machine here running Arkaos.

Its got 3 x WinFast TV2000 XP Expert tuner cards which I use as cheap video inputs for external cameras.

The only big pain is that I don't seem to be able to select the input (tuner, composite or S-Video) fom within Arkaos - I have to use Amcap to do this before starting Arkaos.

This wouldn't be a problem except the machine is autopilot (no operator) so if it crashes / is rebooted all the cards go back to their default input (tuner).

Any ideas on how to rig it with the same input each time?

Cheers, Antony.

Default

i've got the same problems with Resolume and my capture cards, I think the drivers are a bit crap basically.

(although I do remember one version of resolume -maybe 2.3?- could open the config of the capture cards properly, 2.41 seems to have lost the ability.

have a good look through your PC's registry and INI type files - sometimes there is a setting for inputdevice such as 0,1,2,3 (eg 0 being default tuner).

also, write to the support department of the company that makes the cards - they might be able to tell you, and presume you've tried google?
