I ve been a member here for a while reading up on things but not really posting.. i did my first gig jsut making a 1 hr dvd of clips for a james bond thing..
but i am more interested in the "vj" aspect of it I want to be able to use a projector and just create content and be able to call it my own work.. I have arkaos and i have the panorama media server... (company bought it hehe) so pretty much im asking what can i do next to further explore vjing and to get myself out there? I think i may start to go out with a vidi cam and start recording things to build up my conent that i have avalibale thanks in advance for any suggestiongs!! -George

look thru archive.org, get an idea of a theme together, dl those clips which will fit the theme, and recontextulize the archive footage.
Mix that with self shot footage (again with the same theme) and then be proud of yourselve, cause you just created a new take on otherwise stock footage that is waiting to be renewed
