Default Vibrasphere Music Video

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to pop in and show you all something special we have been working on. Altered Visions & Vibrasphere teamed up to make a music video for their next album launch.

We have been working on loop production for the past 3-years and finally got around to making a music video from the loops we produce in house. As not many people have seen our work yet, would love to get some feedback from other people in the VJ comunity.

Below is the link to the Altered Visions website, go into the media section and the video clip is the first selection in there. You can pick either Low or Med resolution for download depending on your internet connection. If you have broadband, the Med res is much better quality. Both files are compressed with zip, so make sure to uncompress after you download.

www.altered-visions.net

LowRes 320x240 Clip is 39mb
MedRes 400x300 Clip is 200mb

There are also some 800x600 sample loops in our media section as well. Feel free to download and use them.

Hope you all enjoy the clip as much as we did making it!

Hi Guy's

Thanks very much for the feedback hey, have not really had much of my stuff in the public arena before. Been in this room developing the loops for the past three years, only to vj & vdj at some local gigs we do here. Decided this year I should really get some of the work out there.

We held a party for vibra here last year and became good friends with them. After Rickard saw the vj act at our party, he asked if I could do a clip for them. I thought who else better to do a clip for. :P

I am still working on the full length version of the clip to be released in about a month or so. Will make sure to post a link to it here.

Thanks again for taking the time to have a look, really means a lot.

here i was thinking that i was doing relativly well in my work (i'm a trance head too...) but with still much to learn..
i saw this video at 5 in the morning, it was a wake up slap in the face, and the "much too learn" seems more distant now, here from the starting line ...

the only thing i have to point out from the video and the rest of the samples is the excessive number of "countdowns"-makes it more eurotrance or hardtrance than the wanted psy-prog
apart from that i make syntax words my own, the style is defenitly awesome

Hey Werlin,

Thanks for your feedback too mate. Don't be to hard on yourself, we all had to start somewhere. Maybe I should show you some of my first clips to make you feel better. :P

Good visuals start with having good content to mix. The best advice I can give you is get to know the leaders in stock content and build a wide collection of animated and real footage. Then make sure you find a software you can learn over a few years to mix this stock footage into loops.

Just wanted to ask what you meant by "countdowns" I have not heard this term before?

the countdown numbers (time-clocks) and code bars, give the samples a little more hard-trance feeling, of course that can be a little more common up there at northern europe, since the hard-styles are more accepted by the psy-listeners than in our southern countries. (here ppl hear hard trance and hardcore and 90% run for their lifes, its a shame that we cant ear things like cosmic gate or flemming down here, cause there's no public)

i hope you dont mind i started to make a new sample trying to "drink" a little from your jap-hightech style and a little bit from the Altom covers...

Hey Werlin,

Not at all mate, sorry I had a busy day yesterday. Wanted to reply to you when I had a little more time.

I like your model hey, would look even better if you used a very tech image as a background. Have you played around with HDRI images before?

They are photos that can wrap 360 degree around an enviroment in 3dsmax or lightwave. can make stuff look quite cool, they also give off a lighting effect. You can also turn normal images into HDRI with some converting soft. This is great to use some of the Digital Vision hi-tech images as backgrounds.

Do a search for HDRI in google if you have not heard of before. Will be a bit of info there on it.

Also make sure to check out the line of products Dosch has to offer. They have some killer textures and models etc as well.

Let me know if you want me to upload a HDRI image somewhere for you to play with.

Have to drop my g/f at the train station now, will be back later today tho. :P
