OpenTZT Official 1.5 Release

After much debugging and testing and fixing it's finally time to release the OpenTZT 1.5 for reals. There are still some issues with plug-ins to fix, and I'd like to make some more tutorials, but the host app seems pretty solid.

This is by no means a stopping point for the project. There should be many more updates in the months and years to follow. If anyone would like to contribute time and/or effort there are always things to be done, and alot of them having nothing to do with coding.

If you have questions or issues please reference the forums, the wiki, and any tutorials that are available. If you can't find a resolution in any of these places feel free to send me an email or contact me on the MSN or AIM networks.

are there any differences between the final beta (10) and this release?

The final bug that was fixed between RC10 and the official 1.5 was in regards to saving presets. If you push Shift-NumpadPlus OpenTZT will save a preset in the first open slot that it finds. I think the RC10 saves a whole bunch of them, whereas the official release was fixed to save only 1.

I have created the first tutorial beyond the Quick Start guide. This first tutorial focuses on getting content into OpenTZT and what you can do with it once it's loaded.

The tutorial is not exhaustive, but it does cover much of the basics as it's primary audience is meant to be new users.
