Addicted to communicating with friends, reading and educating myself, giving up free time to help people and providing work to feed me.

I am such a bad person....must stop using the Internet........

Wow, this is good!

I just started to beck up since December. I have been away from here more and more, I mean, the forums are fine but I have to give the apropiate use to it. I was banned from Macrumors a few months ago because I was actually living there.

Since I left macrumors I started to make more money in real life! Now I use MSN Messenger less than 10 minutes a day. I just visit about 4 web sites and that is it.

My older brother has an addiction to TV, he is 39 and he spend no less than 8 hours a day watching tv and he still living with my parents.

It seems there is ine wave of people living the internet every where, getting social in the organic world and that is good!

Hi Im Thomas, and I am an internet-o-holic.

I've not discovered this recently, I just simply dont know
what (I want) to do about it:

1. Dedicated monitor for IRC (24/7)
(come to daemon.visiscreen.com - #vjchat and say hi)

2. Too often checkin msn and icq (ofcourse with trillian) who is online
(Allways have trillian maximized)

4. Spend more time in front of the computer than its healthy

5. Im a lurker at forums, not so active but read a lot

6. I do have a life but procrastinate it

And ah Im a code-o-holic too :S hehe, I guess Ive got a junkie
mentality when it comes to a lot of things.. I allways overdo them.

Why don't you start a blog? Try Wordpress.org. Open source, lot's of plugins that usually conflict with each other, so you will stay busy for a long long time.


The upside is that all your ideas and rants are in one convenient place.
