Here at Inside-us-all we recently released version 1.7 of the freeframe effects pack. This now contains 35 effects for 70 euros, thats a miserly 50 cents each.
I just finished updating our website which contains full details of all the plugins in the pack. Check www.inside-us-all.com and go to the plugins section. There is also a coming soon section which shows a few new effects which I'm currently working on. They will be due for release in a month or two's time. heres one of the pics from the coming soon section:

Looking nice.
It appears to me that a lot of your plugins are using the same principle : sample the source image and draw a corresponding sprite (with variable size, color, etc) on screen according to the source area brightness/color. Sometime you always use the same basic sprite (like the cubes or the flowers) sometime you use different sprites (like the 0 and 1 in the upcoming matrix-like effect). Would it be possible to create some kind of meta plugin to do that with any number of custom sprites ? That would be really useful ! I'd buy such a plugin alone for the price of the whole package. I suppose that to work fast the plugins need to create some kind of look-up table that is dependant on the nature of the sprites so it might need some pre-compiling or something... |

Great to see new freeframes. The new ones look interesting. Got to get my hands on the hex mask effect.

good stuff...one question. Is it possible to buy individual plugging in your 1.7 set? Not trying to be difficult, but there's some in there that I'd never use, they're all great, but some aren't my style... . |

give it up Tom, I wasn't talking to you... Maybe it would make economic sense if peeps could buy in smaller batches, would love to contribute to Daves life style, but I'm also on a budget at the moment... . |

yeah I've thought about taking this approach, it was also recently suggested to me by Dr Eskaton, and it would indeed be a powerfull technique. The problem is that the implementation of the FF plugin architecture in most hosts only offers one parameter for multi input plugins, and to get satisfying results from this technique you need a minimum of 3 parameters, for threshold, composite mode & sprite size range... If you are looking for some specific kind of sprite let me know and I'll see if theres anything I can help you with. Quote:
