Default VIXID // 4 Channel Dream Mixer... I jest you not

i pretty much hate hardware mixers. love zero latency, but what is the point of layering two sources together if you can't do it with style... so i've been the laptop compositor for years now.

vixid may just change that. unveiled at avit paris, it was completely out-of-the-blue. 4 channel, AV, 4:4:4:4 RGBA internal processing, and completely midi controllable.

There's even a option to have it without the physical interface, so i could create a crazy interface in software to enable my performance style and have that on a laptop controlling four video samplers (ie grid+mac mini x4) and the processing engine to composit them all together.

they're an audio company who have been working on this as a side project for two years, and so are very open to suggestions for direction...

check it - vixid.com (en francais, but specs are specs)
