Default iua release new Freeframe effects compatible with vegas!

Hi

I've been beavering away for the last couple of weeks converting our plugin Library to work with Wax which allows freeframe effects to be loaded into Sony Vegas which is the video editing environment of choice for me and lots of other VJ's I know.

I've also added 10 of our latest Plugins which we've been using to the pack, bringing the total in the pack to 35 effects, which I think is pretty good value at 70 Euros. This latest pack is imaginatively called Plugin pack 1.7.

For more details on the pack check out the details at our website. or e-mail me at plugins@inside-us-all.com. The website still lists plugin pack 1.5 as we haven't had time to update it yet...

I've decided to make it a free upgrade [again ] to existing full pack customers, you should hear by e-mail in the next few days of your new download url if your a registered user.

heres a preview of 2 of the new effects - one which turns video into various different types of bubbles, and another which turns it into fancy squares n cubes!

up the freeframe massive!

Nice, thanks for your continuing help, Dave!

one amendment to these effects I'd like to suggest,
is to have an option where the circles are just outlines?
is that difficult?

Since the plugins now work in Wax, you've also added compatibility with Adobe Premiere as well!

If I'm not mistaken, that now means you can use FreeFrame effects in Vegas, Premiere and After Effects (the last through Pete Warden's wrapper).

You checked the instructions here: http://petewarden.com/InstallHelp.htm and that did not help?

For Premiere, install Wax (http://www.debugmode.com/wax/), set up the paths to the FF effects using the Wax prefs dialog, then you should be able to apply a FF effect encapsulated within Wax, as if it were any other plugin.

The nice thing about Wax is that you can point it at existing plugin directories of other applications, so you don't need redundant copies of the plugins.

I copied Petes plugins in the AE version into Premieres plugin directory. Most of them work, some crash Premiere. Never tried the wrapper.

petes AE plugins are not freeframe though they are native AE format.

by using wax you should be able to run any freeframe plugin in premiere or vegas (well any that support ProcessFrameCopy ie about 90% of the currently available ones)

petes freeframe wrapper for AE should let you run any freeframe plugin in AE
