They are very pretty and trancy.
I like the ones that have a bit of bevel and 3d-ness to them better than the ones that are just keleidescopic. Keleidescopes feels "flat" and 2D very quickly, imo.... Like itunes or a screensaver. The colors are ok. Again I like the ones that have a bit of haze and depth (lightcone) than the ones that are just flat colors. Might try fewer colors or keeping to a smaller pallette: a little more like a graphic artist who can only work in a few pre-decided colors, rather than a x-mas artist who shows every twinkling color of stars and tinsil all at once. Not that there is anything wrong with twinkling 1000 colors, but it is also nice to have monochrome (or duochrome) so you can go moody sometimes.Rather than being on mainscreens or CRTs, I'd like to see these projected onto tabletops, or playing on a plasma used as a table/bar. They have an architectural feel. |

this kind of stuff can work very well when used a background for more figurative stuff.
If it's the only thing used it can get boring because there is no emotional context. I would suggest getting a DV camera and filming live action loops to be mixed / overlaid with this kind of stuff. |

hey!
Thank you very much for your comments I have this idea of storing the VJ and also the DJ session in a DivX format. Do you know any program that can capture this vis and sound into a file? Anyway I will start reading about software to concretize my idea. Fun for all!!
