Default How to convert 29,97 fps to 25 fps ?

Hi all,

I?ve been using GRID2 with 320x240 @ 25fps without any problems.

Now I want to move on to 640x480 clips. These clips have 29,97 fps right now. When I play these files in GRID2 the playback is uneven/erratic.

How can I convert them to 25 fps?
Because when I export them in Quicktime or After Effects to 25 fps they are uneven/erratic themselves. Even in Quicktime Player.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot, Jan

Cinema Tools, bundled with Final Cut Pro 4.0 and the new 5.0 is especially calibrated for the purpose of doing this. I've never had the need to use it, but it may work, if you are on the mac platform and have a copy of fcp 4 or (soon to be released) 5. Not sure on the PC platform, maybe some others can help on that (oh, is GRID mac only? I can't remember...). PS- contact DLublin from vidvox, 'cause GRID should work fine at 29.97 fps. (He's on the forums, from New York, or check support at Vidvox website)

Thanks for the info.

I restarted my computer and now GRID plays 29,97 movies just fine. My fault.
