Default Couple of probs that need solving.

Hi guys.

1. I am currently running Arkaos on my G4 Pbook . It is not taking a feed from the external audio input. When I plug the lead in and check in my Sys prefs for sound there is a feed coming in.
When I put Arkaos into beat detection with audio input ticked it is still not "hearing" the signal.
Any ideas?

2. Since using my G4 with an Edirol V4 mixer the output from the 2nd monitor output has serious degrading of picture quality. This is true for both my external monitor and my tv screen. I.E. When I use my vga adaptor for my monitor I get a yellow screen on my Comp monitor. When I use my rca/s video adapter I get a darker pic on my tv.
I have tried switching refresh rates and also NTSC and PAL settings.

ANy help would be appriciated.

G4 Powerbook 12" 687 RAM and 867 processor.

I've noticed that sometimes Arkaos doesn't want to recognize my oxygen keyboard...i've decided it just decides when it wants to. Sometimes i have to just keep restarting the program like 4 times and suddenly it's receiving MIDI. Don't know how much help that is, except to say that it acts mysterious sometimes. My computer recognizes the oxygen, but Arkaos decides when it's ready to. Try throwing salt over your shoulder 3 times beforehand.

About the V4, i use the S-video out and one of these:

it boosts the signal pretty cleanly even through 2 100 foot spans of S-video wire and might be a workaround for you instead of using RCA out maybe do s-video out through this into your rca components....just a guess
