AVmixer Pro - syphon - Processing/minim/arduino

Hey!

Does anyone know if the data that Syphon out of AVmixer Pro can be accessed for use in programs like Processing (P5) ? Ultimately I'd like to send my visuals as data to Arduino...

Hi pixelwrangler:

I can't say I have tried this and it sounds very ambitious. I'm currently tinkering with Jeenode and attempting a way to send pixel color data to individual Jeenode to control RGB LED.

in reality, I don't think it is possible to send video into Processing via Syphon, only can send from Processing>>>

looks like with Syphon 2.0 it may work. This forum is good for Processing/Syphon too
