Novaion Launchpad

Hey, i just got to borrow a friend of mine's Novation Launchpad, and thou i know that it's designed for Ableton, if i knew it well, it can also beusedfor vjing. And here is my problem. I've downloaded the driver and installed the automap, and Resolume 4.1.1 recognises it in the preferences, but it can not communicate with the launchpad. So basically it's connected, according to the software it's ready to be used, but still...
Have any ideas what can be the problem? If not, can you recommend me a similar hardware? Thanks in advance

Have you mapped the buttons? If not, read the manual for how to do this.

I've tried to map it, but resolume doesn't respond. It's like the device is not even connected, yet it fleshes all the time.

Can you try with midi OX (windows) if you get midi signals?

If you don't try to reinstall the drivers.

Ok,i've solved the problem, but it's very humiliating how simple it was. I forgot to choose a mapping channel, that's all... sorry for bothering
