Default Can you run a Barco ELM in Portrait?

Clues is in the title!
I've done an r12 straight down, but can we run an r18 in portrait?

not sure.
more recent Barcos like the FLM R18 can be run in portrait (only on way up though)

http://www.barco.com/tde/(1150962450..._UserGuide.pdf is not much help but seems to say it can be run on one of its sides maybe?

back on topic - who the hell is renting out ELM R18s in this day and age? I'd want to know the bulb hours before i even considered thinking about such an old projector for anything.

Actually the plan was to buy one for the job, which would pay for it, and then sell it again or make use of it for other projects, but barco have told me, well one reply said yeah thats fine, the other said the tilt switches trigger which ever way you use it, so I take that as a no...
So I'll be going for plan B ...
