number crunching applications like video editing and photoshopping can benefit from more L2 cache. though realtime live visuals are processed on the GPU, so theres no substantial speed gain. thus said, if its not hideously expensive, go for it, apps will just become even more power hungry in the near future and then its good to have some headroom.

I havent had any issue, except from a strange bug not recognising the resolution on my projectors. SwitchResX took care of that. Seemed like on of the thunderbolt ports recognised my projectors, while the other didnt. Oh, well, running the base model 2.3gz.
Curious Devon, how big a difference does 2mb extra cache do?
