Default Best videosettings for youtube

Moi (hello),

I made a music video for a friend of mine and my question is about releasing the musicvid in youtube.
I uploaded the video to youtube and it doesn´t look any good to me because of the videoquality. It jumps and stuff.. I´ve seen much better quality videos out there and I think it´s just because of the settings.

So please could someone maybe help me? theres alot of advices in the web how you should export your video for youtube but any of these gives me the result Im lookin for..

I filmed the video as HD720p, 30fps
I edited the video in FCP with easysetup HDV 720p30

I have exported the video in a couple of different ways. (should I explain those here?)

So if you know which settings I should have for my video with these specifications please let me know.

--------------
I´m new in this forum and in vjing.
I´ve made couple of gigs with a resolume+mac laptop+akai midikontroller. I´m doing gigs with a friend of mine making the music.

I am very happy with Quicktime Pro Export for Web... and uploading this created file(for Desktop option).
I do all my edits and effects with FCP or AE > Export the master file to ProRes > open it in QT Pro> Export for Web.
Many would argue and provide AE/FCP settings they use for direct H.264 export but I find my method still the best for upload quality - and the small size of the file as a bonus. Also it is way faster than 2-pass direct H.264.

Yooww..
Hey thanks yous for your replys!
Found some good tips from Rolin's link.
I wasnt brave/hadnt time enough to follow vanakarus instructions.

So eventually I exported the video with these settings (in case somebody is interested..)
In FCP export as quicktime conversion, format MPEG-4
File format: MP4
Videoformat: H.264
Datarate: 5000 kbits/sec
Imagesize: 1280x720 HD
preserve aspect ratio using crop
frame rate: current
key frame: Automatic
Video options: Main, best quality

And here is the musicvideo for Aqustiikka (finnish rapper/singer/producer) please go check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuwW1...ature=youtu.be

peace!
