Arrow Projection Mapping Vj Setup

Hi,

I'm currently updating my current vj setup with some new gear. My speciality is Projection Mapping & Live VJ performances. We are two vj's and are looking for a good vj setup to easily do our performances.

This is our list so far:

- Edirol V8 Video Mixer
- Livid Ohm Controller
- 2 x Macbook Pro 15 Inch
- 2 x Hard Disk Lacie 8TB Raid
- Triple Head 2 Go
- Duo Head 2 Go

Can you guys think or suggest anymore interesting things which will improve the Vj setup ? I'm also interested in your Vj setup if you are doing Projection mapping.

Our current vj setup:

- One old macbook pro
- Codanova Vmx v64
- Software running: Modul8 / Madmapper / Resolume Arena 4

Thanks for your time.

I;d forget the V8.
TVOne mixers are hip - though proving to be unreliable.
Blackmagic have a $1000 mixer.

I never had problems with my 1T-C2-750. Good piece of equipment.

If you have the money, you could take a datapath X4 instead of a matrox triplehead/dualhead.

You could connect a X4 behind a 1T-C2-750 and have 4 outputs in a good resolution (the maximum for the 1T is 2048x2048)
