Additional Info
Hello

Last year I worked with the British band The Tiger Lillies creating a multiscreen telling of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The show is receiving great reviews.

I am in San Francisco and most the shows are being booked in Europe next year, and im looking for someone who can take over the tour for me.

We are looking for a VJ to run the show, Its a front projection on theater gauze and rear projection. The show consists of 18, 5 min videos with overlays for transitions.

Im looking for someone that has experience with patching into a lighting system so that the lights and video can be run by one person.

Fluent english speaker needed.

We are running the show in October in Paris where I would like to train someone to run the show.

If you have experience and looking to tour next year please contact me here and I will to in touch and can share more info.

Hi. I love very much this group). I am VJ and worked much with light. There is also the equipment. From programs I use ArKaos GrandVJ and ArKaos MediaMaster Express, all over the world I work at SunLight, DMXLight and Martin LightJokey. It is sure that could help you, only I while badly know English... Just in the autumn (or in the winter) was going to go to travel across Europe. I will hope that this vacancy me will wait)).

Looks like a good offer, I just have some questions:

1. Is it 200 - 500 per show? If so, how many shows is it?

2. Do you have some more concrete information about patching up to a light ing system? Do you mean with devices such as the Enttec USB-to-DMX box?

3. Any specific requirements to software / hardware?

Im a VJ from Norway, been doing visuals for clubs, bands, theaters and contemporary dance performances, have pretty good experience with technical setups, work hard, have some experience with patching Resolume and Modul8 with DMX, live in Europe and speak english fluently albeit with a funny scandinavian accent :-)

Hi,

I'm very interested in this job, I have touring experience doing lighting and sound for major theatre tours with the Chinese State Circus and I love the Tiger Lillies music and vibe. I can program and operate Avolites & Zero 88 lighting desks, have some experience with ETC, and know Modul8, Arkaos, Screen monkey etc. I can send a CV and provide references, do you have an email address I can use to get in touch? I'm UK based but happy to travel. email me - brian@two5studios.com

Hello VJForums,

I am the lucky one who got the gig!

I worked on my first show as Tech Director on the production in Seoul a few weeks ago, and now about to embark on a set of worldwide gigs.

A massive thank you to the Forums organisers for adding this Job offer section to the site- this wouldn't have happened without it.

Keep that amazing resource going
