Hi there,
I'm an allround DJ from holland. I've build a new DJ booth with an 50inch plasma TV in it. Picture here: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8010/7...4bb14d640d.jpg Now i'm looking for some really cool kind a 3d stuff i can show on this. I need like 4 sets of 30 minutes for kinda loungy music. And i need like 4 sets of 30 minutes more dance-able. Is there anybody out there who can help me with this? No big budget, but willing to pay when worth it ![]() my e-mail is: droenez@hotmail.com |

Hi and welcome to the forum.
As an insight have you considered just how much time and effort goes into producing 4hrs of content and not 'just' content but specific content? To put it into context it is similar to asking Armin van Buuren if he will do a 4 album deal and then IF you think it is any good you will bung him something then.

VJing, isn't really like DJing... In that, most good VJ's are only using there own content. This is what makes a visual performer good or not, is there originality and quality of there visuals. Whereas, in DJ land, anyone who can press play on anyone else's track can make the music happen. Though there are music performers that will play only there own music, BUT, once it's recorded it's available for every other DJ in the world to play. In VJing, we usually have the luxury of having a closed system, the screens are not recordable, as we're usually the ones with the only input at the event.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of VJ's out there who use purchased clips, I for one do, but to come across a full 30-60 minute pre rendered set isn't really matching the music, or the tempo of the room. It's just visual dribble. really you get what you pay for, and i'm not just talking money here, effort and time are valuable to. If you wanted to take the time to understand VJing, and how to mix your own video's on that nice new 50"er I'm sure it would look alot better than just pressing play on a DVD. |

Is the venue in the picture the one its going to be used in?!
If so it will only be when the dancefloor is mostly empty that anyone will see the booth! |
