![]() I lined this up in M8 in less than 4 minutes using corner pin/perspective transform. its possible to make a perspective transform patch in quartz that you can then apply to each cue in Qlab. if you are projecting onto multiple screens you either need to find a way of getting them all in the same place every day - maybe a line up jig, you can remove later - or accept you can't be so ambitious with your mapping. |

I know that Madmapper will do the job faster, which is why we have tried outputting Q-lab to Syphon Virtual Screen to Madmapper for all mapping. Works like charm so far. I just wanted to know if anybody has any experiences with Syphon Virtual Screen, so I´m not stumbling into any pitfalls.
The theatre project itself is very exciting. We got booked to perform 40 shows on high schools in the neighbouring county, with possibility to do 200 more shows if quality is good. It´s about dropouts, how alot of youth drop out, falling between two chairs. Not tough enough to be hardcore criminals, but not fully members of society. On the tour we will be one technician, one rigger and one actors, all other characters are projected (but played by the same actor) Yesterday we discovered how massive the effect is if the character hangs by his arm almost the entire show, while the visuals around him (mapped out on surfaces) becomes the main focus of the show, while his interacting and getting judged by the other characters. Will post a video when satisfied
