I believe I have the necessary software and hardware for the project. I have a great projector and I am using adobe after effects to edit video and place video clips in a outline area.
I am having a hard time lining up the lines i outlined of the house, I just came seem to get everything to line up, no where close actually, and the size of the outline I have made gets a lot smaller after I have the outline of the house using Paint, saving it, opening it back up in adobe after effects, exporting the the finished video. It is just too small.. Does anybody have any experience in projecting? I think it is called projection mapping. |

Place your camera where the projector will be. Use the same focal length of lens as the projector uses. Take your shot and then make your mask from that image.

as above, except focal length of lens isnt critical, just so long as they are similar.
otherwise, just sit there with your projector on, and draw directly onto the building. to keep things simple, use a document that is the same size as your output, which should be the same as your projector raster - usually 800 x 600, or 1024 x 768. that way when you bounce between apps things should stay the same Last edited by deepvisual; 6th October 2012 at 07:47 AM. |
