Default Anyone out there with experience with Synapse > Quartz Composer > Resolume?

I've been using a combination of Madmapper (with the Kinect plugin) and Resolume (sending an image into Madmapper via Syphon) to map images onto peoples bodies, but I'm now looking to do this without a reliance on Madmapper.

Has anyone here successfully used Synapse with Quartz and the Syphon server to send the video feed into Resolume?

I find the Syphon help videos extremely confusing and have been unsuccessful in getting this going. I will probably get there eventually, but I'm in a rush and thought someone here might have already done this?

If so can someone please outline how they got this working.

If I get it going myself I'll post back here with the workflow.

At this point I'd be happy even if I could just send the Kinect depth image from Synapse into Resolume (via Quartz) but I find the whole Client / Server Syphon stuff bloody confusing.

Any help mucho appreciato.

Cheers guys.

I have not tested with Resolume yet but from memory:

Do you have Synapse running it qtz already?
If so it's just a matter of adding a Syphon server on the top level, e.g. Clear #1, sprite #2 Syphon server #3- name it and choose GL scene.

What version of Resolume are you using?
The latest release has 'native' Syphon support.

You can just use quartz composer patches in resolume, so you don't need extra syphon.
