Cheap Pro-DVD-player

I just posted this question in the FAQ-department, but thought it might fit in here aswell:

My question is this:
Do any know of some cheap dvd-player that goes in black when you pause it? Or doesn`t show the stupid PLAY-symbol when the button is pushed?
Don`t know about you, but I find this frustrating.
And it never says on the box if this is an option.

Please give me a hint
