Default Outlines of Cubes / Shapes in C4d

Good Morning Folks,
beforehand I was using AfterEffects with 3dstroke to create outlines of cubes / Masks, anything. Now I am learning Cinema4d and I am searching for something similiar in that program. Anyone Ideas?
A wonderfull day

Hrm, thats a really general effect. I want to animate outlines of cubes with keyframing etc. pp. Like in after effects, when I create a Solid Colour with Masks and can animate the masks with 3dstroke.

Not sure what you really want to achieve. A an example video might be useful.

Here in sec. 10 you can see what I want to archive. It does not have to be so funky.

Edit: Yes, I forgot: https://vimeo.com/10692284

@vjair: To import from AE seems to be a huzzle, I could do the animation once and couldn't change it live in C4D. Also, how could I bring the outlines from AE on a 3d-Cube in C4D? As a textur? Hrrrmmm.

if you can make it in AE but need it in c4d.... why not make it in AE then import into c4d?

I think you may have forgotten to post a link to the example you are referencing.

Ok, I see. You can't really animate the outlines of a 3D object to achieve something like this and I am afraid there is no quick solution.

You will have to rebuild every path you want to animate (> splines), apply a sweep nurb and animate it.

Here's a quick tutorial…
