Hello alltogehter,
I got a little question regarding a setup where the projector is at a different point, than the viewer. I made a draft to illustrate it. Maybe I found a solution for flat surfaces. Here u go: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us My Idea is to create the Typo, Animation etc pp by looking through Camera 1. The position of camera 1 is the place where the crowd is going to be. And the position of camera 2, where the projector is approximately going to be. At the end I will render everything with the view from camera 2. I think it should work, as long u don't have a surface which something coming outside e.g. a box which would cast a shadow. Does it work this way? all the best buastellen |

Render with camera 1, then deform the image when you're projecting with mapping sofware (resolume arena, madmapper, ir mapio...).
But don't try to put the projector too much from the side, it will decrease your amount of pixels and brightness. |

I think baustellen is looking for a way to find exactly the right perspective correction when projecting from a different angle than viewing.
And I think the idea is probably good so I think you should give it a try on a small object just to see if everything works as expected. |
