Question Help needed for a 2 outputs LED Setup from a laptop driving Arena 4.

Hi,
I've been vjjing since a long long way now,was working with a colleague doing all the technical stuff, but then we split. We had our own skills. Im aware about lots of things, but some parts are missing.

We were doing a gig with BR15 Leds (2 processors needed).
We were using a desktop station with 3 outputs as shown on the first image. This year I would use my laptop with only one DVI. Should I use a triplehead2go or is there any other ways (!!?) to achieve this?

Does the second image make sense?

Thanks a lot, and yes you can laugh to death if my technical knowledge looks poor...but please do send me some advices.

Dualhead2go is the simplest way.

Personally I'd use the advanced output mapping in Arena to remap the widescreen composition into a single 1280x1024 output with the left hand screen output positioned below the right hand output. This would let us use a single LED processor and do without the 2 image pros. (this is a relatively advanced approach, the dualhead method is lots simpler if you don't have to think about the hire budget)

Thanks tom, this sounds simple! But...how can you achieve this with a single LED processor? maybe its late now, and my brain just don't get it.
I though there is to much LED to use a single processor.

-by the way, we met in Vis, Croatia, in the early 2000....

Tom!
So my dualhead2go seems to be on another project... :S

How can I test your solution with only one DVI output?
I have a 1920x1200 monitor plugged in...

Thanks again

Ok hopefully you can follow what i'm doing in these pictures.

You may need to adjust the numbers to fit your content / screen design, but I hope the principle of what i'm talking about is clear..

[edit to add - these is a typo in the first line - it shoud most likely be 288 pixels tall.)

Thank you very very Tom! Sometimes, it may look simple for one, but not for the other. Wasnt so comfortable for the input and output tab, but now, wow...so many possibilities! I'll now have to check with the LED guy if he can drive all the LED panels with only one processor...! If he cant i'll take a dualhead.

thanks again!
cheers!
