Default Which laptop?

I have two laptops, both are quite old. I am wondering which would be best suited to modul8. I understand that I may not be able to use all of the alpha functionality fully...I am just hoping to find out which will run multichannel video better.

1) MacBook 2,1...2.16ghz Core2duo (2mb L2 cache, 667mhz)...2gb RAM...Intel GMA 950 64mb shared RAM

2) MacBook Pro 1,1...2.0ghz Core Duo (2mb L2cache, 667mhz)...2gb RAM...ATI Mobility X1600 128mb RAM

Will I see a better return from the Core2duo in the MB...or ATI card in the MBP?

Thanks

I am not a mac user but generally shared memory for video is not a good thing.
